Hey! I'm Alexandra.
I'm a multi-passionate creative producer. That means I have lots of different passions and interests that don’t fit into a single box. I’m a mother, an actress, a creative, a coach-therapist and an equality, diversity and inclusion consultant. My super power is making things happen and what connects all those things is authenticity. I’m passionate about making authentic things happen for you.
What do I mean by that? Well, for starters I mean authentically expressing myself and doing work that reflects my true passions and interests. It means striving to see and hear you as accurately as possible. It means supporting you to express your experiences, passions and values as truly as possible. It means facilitating others to see your uniqueness as accurately as possible. As a woman of mixed black African and White European heritage I embrace your individuality and value your diversity.
I guess if you’re still reading then you resonate with some of what I’m saying. Perhaps you believe that if we act in a way that is true to ourselves and is aligned with our joy, energy and passions, we are at our most useful to others. That ultimately we are here to be of use to others, although that can take may different forms from being a parent, an artist or a humanitarian.
You’re a high-achiever, perhaps an entrepreneur or CEO. Your employees love you. People full stop love you because you are caring and fair. But if they knew how you felt inside they’d be shocked. You often feel wracked with anxiety, obsessive and compulsive thoughts or panic attacks and depression.
You wish you could confide in a caring, safe and confidential expert who had lots of experience with this and was confident they could help you. I can do this with a12-week bespoke therapy programme which is highly focussed on achieving just one concrete specific outcome. Each weekly session is 50-minutes and I use a range of therapies from EMDR to IFS (Internal Family Systems) to Gestalt Therapy to really target the issue and create sustainable changes.
You're a Learning & Development. Manager and you want your workforce to have a greater sense of belonging and inclusivity but surveys suggest that despite your attempts, this is not yet the case. Perhaps your organisation is already strong on anti oppressive practices in your external work but you realise you need to change the behaviours of certain individuals within teams. You recognise that pointing a finger only causes shame and defensiveness and does not create change. You want to find a way to bring all team members with you in your quest towards full equality, diversity and inclusiveness.
As a 15-year experienced and specifically trained Gestalt group therapist I am highly skilled in facilitating difficult dialogues to promote understanding and respect of difference within groups and teams. From those who feel threatened or scapegoated by EDI initiatives to those who feel marginalised or unseen within the organisation. I provide a safe and containing space.
